Class Activity

  • What did you learn or find insightful during your discussions on Software Engineering topics during the Week 1 tutorial?

    • Week 1’s tutorial was not very deep or insightful as we were the first tutorial of the week and we were not given much information

    • We had some icebreakers, and learned about why people in our group wanted to do software engineering

    • We also had some discussions and googled what team roles meant, and what they were - it was interesting seeing how different roles had different responsibilities in software development

  • Briefly write about your answers to one or more of the questions discussed in the class.

    • We had an icebreaker about what we preferred: high school or uni.

Goals

  • What do you want to get out of this course?

    • I want to learn what it looks like to get a project and develop it as a team

  • What skills do you want to develop and improve?

    • Teamwork, team roles and actually coding. Also developing understanding in how to produce something for a client

  • What do you think will be the biggest challenge of the course?

    • Having a vague spec!
