Possible new features to add for sprint 4.

  • invoice history

  • modularise form filling

  • save customer contacts

  • save products to add to the invoice

  • tax and country currency profiles

  • send invoices as pdf’s preview as html

Possible Ui changes to make

  • top bar for navigation

  • Create a user homepage

  • Streamline the invoice creation interface (could we do a drag and drop invoice builder?)

  • focus on ease of use for the end user. assume minimal computer experience.

  • Add button for home page in nav bar

  • Have a preview feature where people can see the XML before rendering

Backend

  • Save/read XML stuff

  • Save/read parts of xml

  • Send pdf

    • Route to render and then to send api

API

  • Send pdf

    • Receive XML and a PDF and send

New changes to Figma design

  • Having 3 separate pages for users to fill out (customer info, product details. payment details)

  • Navigation Bar

    • Customer → Payment → product → preview → send

Coding capability

Not having Figma prototype thus everyone is not on same page of how it should look.

 

 

PDF sending functionality

  • Requires integration of external rendering API which could cause issues

Able to send PDFs from the front end and receive an email about them.

 

Invoice history
