Portfolio Feedback
Reflective > Descriptive - be less descriptive (this is what happened) and more reflective (what did you think was interesting? what did you learn? what did you wish you did differently?)
Make use of your real estate (the page) - try to avoid having large areas of dead space
Colour and graphics are what make it a portfolio
Evidence and content
Try to avoid long paragraphs - include evidence followed by short summaries and links where needed
Most evidence should have some explanation/analysis (not just put on the page)
Leave out blog screenshots as we will be looking at those anyhow
Appendix
Link all blog posts in appendix
Link all comments to other people’s posts (screenshots of these are good as well)
Telling a story and showcasing progression/your journey
Remember to comment on other people’s blog posts
X-Factor - how to do it?
Making it look awesome
Reflection videos (1-2 min)
Educational resources - helping future students by making videos/tutorials (e.g. AWS deployment)
